Mu State currently has two Campus/Collegiate Kappa chapters with the first one originating at Blue Mountain Christian University (former Blue Mountain College).  Blue Mountain Christian University  Campus/Collegiate Kappa was charted April 28, 1993, with the approval of Dr. E Harold Fisher, President, and members of the faculty in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. Imogene Hardon, faculty member, and National Kappa Kappa Inc. applied for the organization to the President and Dean of Students. Eudora Kemp, Past National President of Kappa Kappa Iota, and Louise Peeler, Past Mu State President, conducted the installation and initiation of the new members. The charter President was Amy Higgins; Vice President, Jennifer Harden; Secretary, Beth Phillips; and Treasurer, Pam Boren. Imogene Hardon served as first faculty advisor, followed by Myra Langley,  Silvia Thompson, and Jenetta Waddell, the present advisor.

On March 1, 2023, the Mississippi University for Women chartered a Campus/Collegiate Chapter with the approval of Dr. Nora Miller, President.  Penny Mansell, a Beta Chapter member, was instrumental in the chartering of this chapter.  She serves as the faculty advisor along with Rose Ford, who is also a faculty member. Dr. Mitzy Johnson-Mills, 2022-2023 Mu State President along with Mu State Past Presidents Olivia Sansing, Diane Carter, Debbie McLaurin, and faculty advisor, Penny Mansell conducted the installation and initiation of the thirteen new members.
