Mu State Scholarships

Mu State established two scholarships to be awarded each year at the state convention.  Each scholarship was originally $200.  In 1984, one of the scholarships was named in honor of our founder, Christine Reeves, and the other in the honor of our first National President, Nannie Whitten. Since that time, the two scholarships were combined, and the amount of $300 is awarded in alternate years in the name of Christine Reeves or Nannie Whitten to an active Mu State Kappa member.

In 1996, a new scholarship was established in honor of former State President, Imogene Hardon, for her efforts in establishing the Blue Mountain College Campus Kappa. It is awarded annually in the amount of $300 to a deserving Blue Mountain Campus Kappa.

The scholarship application is available on-line and must be mailed to the Mu State Scholarship Chair by April 1.
